Diálogos e Details Lda. (hereinafter, The Bookshop), headquartered at Av. Do Bocage, 2 A 2830-002 Barreiro, with share capital of €5,000, Tax ID No. PT 510997430, registered at the Commercial Registry Office of Barreiro, is the legitimate owner of The Bookshop, online area of the official website of the brand EASY TALK – SCHOOL OF LANGUAGES and whose domain can be found at https://www.EASYTALK.PT.

- PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF APPLICATION
- These General Terms and Conditions of Sale exclusively govern the purchase and sale made on THE BOOKSHOP's online store, between the Final Consumer as a buyer and THE BOOKSHOP as a seller, and apply to all visitors of the www.easytalk.pt site, as well as to any transactions of a commercial nature carried out through this online store.
- Browsing the site, as well as purchasing any book at www.easytalk.pt, implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of use and contracting.
- THE BOOKSHOP reserves the right to change these conditions of use and contracting, without prior notice, as well as to modify at any time the information and commercial offer presented on products, prices, promotions, commercial conditions and services, and any changes will always be published on the website www.easytalk.pt
- The Final Consumer must provide THE BOOKSHOP, as seller, with an e-mail or postal address, or other contact information, which is correct and complete, and accepts that THE BOOKSHOP can contact him/her using this data, if deemed appropriate.
- INFORMATION ON ANA SOUSA ONLINE STORE CONTENTS
- The website www.easytalk.pt is intended for private use only, therefore the reproduction, transfer, distribution, or storage of the contents of THE BOOKSHOP online store without prior written permission is prohibited for any purpose other than strictly personal use.
- The introduction of links for commercial purposes or without prior authorization from THE BOOKSHOP to our website is expressly prohibited, as is the use of the domain www.easytalk.pt for abusive purposes and will be subject to competent legal recourse pursued by THE BOOKSHOP.
- In the case that you find links that allow you to access www.easytalk.pt on other sites, or the references to THE BOOKSHOP online store, we inform you that Diálogos e Details Ltd. has no responsibility for those links or pages, nor for the contents therein contained.
- We are strongly committed to ensuring that the information presented on www.easytalk.pt is free from typographical errors and we will correct them as soon as possible, whenever they occur.
- All contractual information is written in Portuguese, as well as information on articles, email communications and sales formalization, with the exception of expressions very specific to the universe of language learning and/or the business world
- COMMERCIAL POLICY
- If the information presented does not correspond to the characteristics of the product, the Customer has the right to terminate the purchase and sale contract under the applicable legal terms.
- The photographs presented on the website are for illustrative purposes only. Therefore, we recommend that you take a long look at the book's details for better information about the respective characteristics of the items you want to purchase.
- Book prices and specifications are subject to change without notice. Despite THE BOOKSHOP's extreme attention to keeping all information up-to-date, some books may contain an incorrect price, so we will check prices whenever we process orders. If the price of the book is lower than the advertised price, we will refund the difference. If the price is higher, we will inform the End Consumer by email and we will await their decision to accept the new offer or cancel the order.
- The book catalog of THE BOOKSHOP online store is independent of physical stores, both in terms of price, and in terms of the books presented and quantities in stock. All promotional campaigns have limited stock and are exclusive to THE BOOKSHOP online store.
- The validation of the purchase order or order assumes that the Buyer is aware of and accepts THE BOOKSHOP's General Terms and Conditions of Sale, present on the website www.easytalk.pt
- All data registered by THE BOOKSHOP constitute proof of the set of transactions carried out between the Seller and the final Consumer, being THE BOOKSHOP's responsibility to file the electronic document in which the contract is formalized, committing itself to keep it affordable.
- OBLIGATIONS OF CUSTOMERS AND USERS
- Any visitor to the www.easytalk.pt site undertakes to comply with and respect these general conditions, namely observing the following obligations:
- It is prohibited to introduce, store or disseminate through the website www.easytalk.pt defamatory, obscene, insulting, xenophobic and/or any other content that violates the general principles of law and public order;
- Save, and not disclose, your input password on the website in order to prevent third parties from accessing your account and personal data;
- Do not use false identities;
- Provide your personal data and correct addresses so that THE BOOKSHOP can properly process orders;
- The final Consumer is solely responsible for the veracity of the personal data communicated to THE BOOKSHOP and undertakes to immediately enter and inform any changes through their registration account at www.easytalk .pt.
- THE BOOKSHOP disclaims any responsibility for any delay or impossibility of processing the order resulting from error or insufficiency of the data communicated by the Final Consumer, namely at the time of delivery.
- Any visitor to the www.easytalk.pt site undertakes to comply with and respect these general conditions, namely observing the following obligations:
- ONLINE ORDERING
- To place an order at www.easytalk.pt, the User must have a valid and frequently used e‑mail account and register as a THE BOOKSHOP customer by filling out the form available online. Once registered, the Final Consumer simply inserts all the books that he/she wants to purchase in the virtual shopping basket, following all the steps of the purchase so that it can be successfully completed.
- Placing an order at www.easytalk.pt is very easy:
- Browse the pages of THE BOOKSHOP online store and find the book(s) you want to purchase.
- Add your favorite books to your Shopping Cart via the Add to Cart button.
- Once you decide that you have already chosen all the books you want to purchase, complete the purchase by clicking on Checkout.
- Then fill in your personal details in our form.
- Then select the payment method.
- Review Your Order
- Make the payment, confirming the order.
- Finally, you will receive an order confirmation via email.
- By selecting the Exit button, at the end of the purchase process, your order is confirmed and then you will only have to wait for the days required for the mail delivery of the books you have purchased.
- As soon as you complete your purchase, you will receive an automatic email confirming the transaction. We suggest that you print or download that copy for future reference. If the data is not correct, you can immediately request a change or even cancel the purchase made.
- In case of non-confirmation of payment or non-compliance with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, THE BOOKSHOP reserves the right not to accept your order or to cancel it in whole or in part, even after its automatic confirmation.
- AVAILABILITY OF BOOKS AND ORDER CONFIRMATION/CANCELLATION
- THE BOOKSHOP only processes an order placed by a customer after confirmation of the respective payment, so it cannot guarantee the availability of the items until the beginning of said processing.
- In the order confirmation, you will find the estimated date for shipping of the books, after payment confirmation. Naturally, the estimated shipping time may vary depending on the carrier and the destination of your order.
- THE BOOKSHOP only ships orders on working days. Therefore, weekends and public holidays are not taken into account when estimating delivery time. Any delay in the shipment of items, relative to the estimated dates presented, does not entitle you to compensation.
- The fulfillment of all orders placed on the site is subject to the availability of books. THE BOOKSHOP tries to ensure that all items offered for sale on the website are in stock. However, THE BOOKSHOP reserves the right not to accept any orders or cancel orders already confirmed for books that are no longer in stock. In case of unavailability of the book and/or out-of-stock event, THE BOOKSHOP will immediately inform the CUSTOMER of the partial or total cancellation of their order, and the buyer is entitled to a refund of the respective amount paid.
- ORDER CONFIRMATION OR CANCELLATION
- ATHE BOOKSHOP may not validate the order that does not have sufficient guarantee of good collection, when the order is incomplete or incorrect, or when the ordered books are no longer available. In any of the aforementioned cases, THE BOOKSHOP will inform the CUSTOMER via e-mail that the sales contract has not been executed and that THE BOOKSHOP has not proceeded with the sale, specifying the reasons for such.
- If the products ordered on www.easytalk.pt are no longer available when you last accessed the site, despite having obtained an order confirmation, or when THE BOOKSHOP receives your order, THE BOOKSHOP will immediately inform the CUSTOMER of the unavailability of the products, never exceeding the period of 30 days after receipt of the order.
- If an order and the corresponding payment have been placed for products which have become unavailable in the meantime, THE BOOKSHOP will refund the money paid for the unavailable items.
- THE BOOKSHOP reserves the right to refuse any order, regardless of the reason and is not liable for any damages or costs, and reserves the right to cancel any purchase even if it has already been accepted or confirmed by THE BOOKSHOP, namely in the following situations:
- The information on the invoice is not correct or verifiable;
- The order is flagged by the website's Security Systems as an incorrect or irregular order, or an order susceptible to fraud;
- When the transfer of payment for the order has not been received within 2 working days of acceptance of your order;
- When it is not possible to deliver the order to the address provided by the User;
- If it is considered that the Buyer did not have the capacity to perform that act.
- If it is found that there was an error in the presentation of the price of the product(s).
- PAYMENT TERMS AND SECURITY GUARANTEES
- All available payment methods are presented on www.easytalk.pt. We do not accept any other payment methods than those stated.
- You will be able to pay for your products at the ATM (Multibanco), as all the necessary instructions for this method of payment (entity/reference/total amount) will be provided.
- THE BOOKSHOP will only start processing the order after we have received payment. Therefore, we advise you to go to ATM point or online banking website as quickly as possible in order to receive your order as soon as possible. Once 2 calendar days have elapsed after placing the order, and if we have not received any payment, the order will be cancelled.
- The purchase price of the products and the transport costs, as indicated in the order form, will be charged to the checking account when the products purchased are actually shipped.
- We urge you not to attempt to pay by any other means not specified at www.easytalk.pt. If you do attempt this, THE BOOKSHOP cannot be held responsible for the loss of payment or any other damages that may arise
- SECURITY OF THE BOOKSHOP ONLINE STORE AND OF ALL TRANSACTIONS
- THE BOOKSHOP online store uses the services of the company EASY PAY to provide payment references, which is a highly secure way to pay for online transactions, so you will never be asked for debit and/or credit card details.
- THE BOOKSHOP cannot be held liable for any damage suffered as a result of the use of electronic means of communication, namely damages arising from failures or delays in the delivery of electronic communications, from interceptions or manipulations of electronic communications by third parties or from computer programs used for virus transmissions or communications.
- PRIVACY POLICY
- ATHE BOOKSHOP recognizes the importance of protecting the personal data of its customers and of all of those who visit the www.easytalk.pt website, and for this reason it has developed a safety pattern of behaviour that meets all the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation. - RESERVATION OF PROPERTY OF MARKETED PRODUCTS
- THE BOOKSHOP retains ownership of the company's products until it has received full payment for all such products
- PRICES
- The product pricing that is shown on the www.easytalk.pt website includes Value Added Tax (VAT).
- Shipping fees are added to the value of the product. This fee will be visible at the end of the purchase.
- All the prices are stated in Euros.
- PRODUCT SHIPPING AND DELIVERIES
- Products ordered from THE BOOKSHOP online store will be shipped and delivered on weekdays, Monday through Friday.
- We can only guarantee the proper delivery of an order if the shipping address of the products is correctly indicated by the User, and this address is located in a home or office located in Portugal.
- A delivery is deemed to have been made or a product is deemed to have been delivered upon the signature of the delivery receipt at the agreed upon address.
- SHIPPING COSTS AND DELIVERY TIMES
- Shipping charges associated with your order will be billed per order, that is, if you order more than one item, you will pay shipping charges only once. However, THE BOOKSHOP reserves the right to split the delivery of the order, for example, if a part of the order is delayed or unavailable. In case we proceed with the division of the order, the customer will be notified of our intention by e-mail. For this purpose, the email address provided by the customer at the time of purchase will be used.
- Shipping cost of 4 Euros per order will be charged for mainland Portugal and the Archipelago of Madeira and the Azores.
- The order is considered accepted if, after receiving the order, the Buyer does not return the order within 15 days.
- ORDER DELIVERY TIMES
- Once your order has been registered, payment confirmed, and all the products in your order are available, THE BOOKSHOP estimates the delivery of the products within an indicative period of 3 to 8 working days.
- THE BOOKSHOP will not be responsible for any failure or delay in complying with the obligation to send.
- PRODUCT EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
- If you decide to return purchased products, THE BOOKSHOP has the right not to accept the return of products whenever their original condition has been damaged.
- After receiving the order, the Buyer has a period of 15 days to return the purchased book, without the need to explicitly justify the reason.
- Upon receipt of all ordered manuals, or only part of them, at our facilities, we will process them within a maximum period of two working days. If the return is confirmed, the amount will be refunded via bank transfer. For this, you will be contacted by THE BOOKSHOP team.
- ORDER CANCELLATION
- In the first instance, the easiest way to cancel your order is not to make your payment using the ATM reference. This reference will be active for 2 days and if you do not pay, the order will be canceled after two days.
- If the payment has already been made, the User must contact our Customer Service and request the cancellation of the order.
- If the cancellation request is successful, the customer will be notified of this decision by email and the cancellation will be processed free of charge to the customer.
- If the request for cancellation is not possible because the order has already been shipped, the books will be sent to the Buyer who, if he maintains his intention to cancel the order, must refuse to receive them and activate THE BOOKSHOP online store return mechanisms.
- Upon confirmation of return and receipt of the order at THE BOOKSHOP, the respective cancellation will be processed.
- CONDITIONS THAT APPLY TO PROMOTIONAL CODES (DISCOUNTS)
- When used in accordance with the established rules, a promotion code entitles the user to take advantage of a promotion/discount related to the purchase of a specific product or for a group of products, during the period indicated/associated with the promotional code/promotional campaign.
- Promotional codes are personal and non-transferable and can only be used for online purchases made on the website. The sale, exchange, or donation of a promotional code is not allowed. The customer holding the promotional code may not upload or make available a promotional code on any website or any other public form of offer, donation, sale, or exchange. The use of promotional codes for commercial purposes is not allowed.
- The use of a promotional code is subject only to one use per order. Promotional codes cannot be combined with any other promotions or special offers.
- Promotional codes are not redeemable for cash and will not be reissued or refunded.
- Without prejudice to any other rights, THE BOOKSHOP reserves the right to immediately invalidate the promotional code issued if it suspects that a promotional code is being used in violation of the aforementioned assumptions.
- VALIDITY OF PROMOTIONS OR COMMERCIAL CAMPAIGNS
- Promotional offers or commercial campaigns disclosed on the www.easytalk.pt website are valid only for the time they are displayed on the website and in accordance with the established conditions, unless otherwise stated on the website.
- In the case of returning or exchanging items purchased as part of commercial campaigns or promotions, you will only be credited or delivered items in the amount you actually spent on the purchase of the book(s) you wish to return.
- The return conditions for orders placed during campaign/promotion periods can be changed, and listed in a menu created specifically for this purpose.
- APPLICABLE LAW
- These General Conditions and Terms of Sale and all emerging disputes that are related to these general conditions, including their validity, use of the www.easytalk.pt website or any purchase on the same shall be governed by the Portuguese law.
- In case of dispute regarding the interpretation or execution of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, THE BOOKSHOP and the Buyer agree to attempt to obtain an amicable solution, which is fair and adequate, within the maximum of 60 (sixty) days from the receipt of the communication addressed to that effect by any of the parties involved.
- EIn case of consumer dispute, the consumer can use the European online dispute resolution platform available at https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr. - In the absence of an amicable solution, pursuant to the provisions of the preceding paragraph, and in case of non-compliance with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, both parties establish the Lisbon Civil Court as the competent jurisdiction, to the express exclusion of all others.
- AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL CONDITIONS AND TERMS OF SALE OF THE BOOKSHOP ONLINE STORE
THE BOOKSHOP has the right to change these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. The Buyer is subject to the principles and terms in force on the date of his/her order, unless the law or competent authority impose any changes thereto.
